In 2005 I was diagnosed with stage one Breast Cancer. I used this experience to make as many changes in my life as a could. I vowed to no longer sit and watch life go by but get out live it and comment on it. I was admitted to a graduate creative writing program a year after finishing treatment. This blog is my outlet to say to anbody who takes the time to read it the ideas, stresses, and most of all, complaints of a single woman trying to do it all.
Thinking that change should be embraced I changed jobs in 2007 to what I thought was a a long time stable company. But the economy crashed and I was laid off on Jan 12, 2009. I have now been unemployed for over a year. Nobody is more shocked than me. I spend my days looking for work and writing the novel I began in graduate school.
